FYSH Christmas Party Tomorrow!!!
Tomorrow evening is the FYSH Christmas Party at the Sperry home!!! We hope all of you can make it to this wonderful event. Below are the details of the party.
Time: 6:30 - 9:00pm
What to Bring?
Bring some sort of amazing food goodness to share. This could be cookies, pizza roles, little mini
hotdogs bathing in barbeque delight, veggies, donuts, etc.
What to wear?
Wear whatever you want. You could wear an ugly sweater. You could wear a nice sweater. Come
in a full body pj suit with footies at the bottom.
What else to bring?
Just dance for Wii and spare remotes.
Any game that you think would be fun to play.
Anything else that would enhance the Christmas Party experience.

Youth Group Cancelled For Tonight
Hey Fysh!
Just a quick reminder that youth group will be cancelled for tonight. As an alternative, I was going to suggest that you go sledding, but since there is no snow I have had to come up with the next top five things to do when you youth group is cancelled.
Top Five Things to Do When Youth Group is Cancelled.
#5 - Microwave a marshmallow to see how large you can get it before it explodes.
#4 - Try and discover the real answer to the question "How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie
roll center of a tootsie pop?"
#3 - Stare at yourself in a mirror, then look away, and then look back as fast as you can to see if you
can see the side of your head.
#2 - Go to Walmart, stand in the entryway (the area where the red box machine is) and start singing
Christmas songs to see if anyone joins you. (I have done this and it went splendidly.)
#1 - Read your Bible and pray for other people in the group.

Teenagers of the Bible: Mary
A recap from our time together this morning:
Mary is the most famous woman of the Bible, and perhaps all of history. She is the most respected, the most talked about and the most honored woman. But who was Mary? She was really a nobody. She did not come from a wealthy family or town. The Bible doesn't record what she looked like, who her parents were, or really anything that the world would use as a measuring stick. But this teenage girl loved God wholeheartedly and was faithful to him. So what are the lessons we learned from Mary?
#1. We can't expect God to use us in amazing ways if we first are not in love with God.
Why was Mary used? Because God saw her heart and knew that Mary loved Him above all else, and that put her in a great spot to be used by God in a great way.
#2. Be willing to be made uncomfortable and suffer for God.
Many that are used by God must go through very difficult moments along the way. Mary, a teenage girl had huge obstacles and challenges that she had to face as a result of God using her.
#3. Trust and follow God always, in the good and the bad.
Remember, as far as we know, Mary is the only one to be with Christ at the time of his birth and his death. As a teenager, she obeyed God and followed his direction, and she continued to do so all the way to the cross of Christ and beyond.
Mary, a strong teenager that was ready and willing to be used by God in a big way. Are you ready to be used by God? Are you in a place where God can easily use you? Are you willing to be used even if it is difficult?

3rd Annual Iron Chef Competition
The 3rd Annual Iron Chef competition was a major success. We had two strong teams battle it out in the kitchen to test their cooking skills. The Oven Slayers and The Space Explorers did their best to come up with a creative, good tasting dish with the secret ingredient being Fruity Pebbles Cereal. Well done to both teams and to this year's champions, The Oven Slayers.
